In Stitches is a film written by Phoebe Lloyd and Katie Mae Ryan that follows a failing stand up comedian, Sam, through a groundhog-day style time loop, incited by her poking her eye with a mascara brush. As she continues to bomb set after set, she realizes that the only way out is to confront her failing relationship with her girlfriend, Brandi, who she neglects due to her devotion to comedy. Time stretches and converts, getting more absurd as it goes on, and as Sam does anything and everything in pursuit of a laugh.
